Following on from the success of the first year and in support and recognition of Harri’s bravery, over the years10YFan has committed to helping children, and their families, living with a Cancer diagnosis. The charities that 10YFan has supported since the first year reflect this ambition and we are proud to have helped fundraise £50,000 for LATCH in 2016, £80,000 in 2017, split between two amazing charities: Dreams and Wishes and 2 Wish Upon a Star, £75,000 raised in 2018 for The Kids Cancer Charity and over £75,000 for Holibobs Children's Cancer Charity in 2019. Our 2022 event post-Covid saw a further £50,000 raised for Holibobs again. These are staggering amounts raised by climbers, volunteers and all involved in 10 Y Fan!

Given the events over the last few years we recognise that people may want to raise monies for their own cause so from 2022 onwards we welcome as many charities to be supported as possible!

The Kids Cancer Charity - A national charity supporting children with cancer and their families through their challenging journey. Their wish is for children affected by cancer and their families to not feel alone and for 35 years have been providing play therapy and care breaks for families from all over the UK.

Holibobs Childrens Cancer Charity - The aim of this wonderful charity is to fund holidays for children who are suffering from cancer or leukaemia. Holibobs Children's Cancer Charity are dedicated to providing holidays for children diagnosed with cancer or leukaemia.  

A holiday or break away for families in these circumstances is essential as it provides time away from the hospital and scary treatment regimes. Time spent as a family in these circumstances becomes crucial, every moment of happiness, every laugh, every smile, every adventure provides strength to cope with what may lie ahead one day at a time.

Tenovus Cancer Charity - Wales largest cancer charity who want a future that gives anyone affected by cancer, in Wales and beyond, the best access to the treatment and support they need. A future that reduces the impact of cancer, gives people hope and helps them to live their best lives.

Age Connects Morgannwg - Age Connects Morgannwg is  a charity for older people living in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend and Merthyr Tydfil. They work tirelessly to get older people the help they want, when they want it. They empower older people to be heard and to have choice and control, so they don’t feel isolated or discriminated against, and they receive the support and services they need.
